After noticing a large dovetail joint in another piece of furniture the idea to use two contrasting woods for this bunk bed was very quickly made. Oak and walnut have been used by many craftsmen as the colours seem to compliment each other so well. It was a simple decision to add shaped handles to the draw fronts in order to offer a little more character to this inspired client design.
